The year 2000-2001 was very special for me. I will always remember my experiences with Club Sonrisas. And I thank all those who helped make this year so successful.
With the help of Interactive Studio Multimedia and Initial Pixel, we were able to establish our official Web site.
Our friend Theresa Gunn brought her Field of Dreams theater group to Tijuana and plans to continue working with us.
In January, over 2000 people attended our 'Día de Reyes' Athletic Festival with similar success for our event on April 28, 2001 for 'Día de los Niños.
In April, 2001, we presented a plaque to Larry Lucchino of the San Diego Padres thanking him for his help and the tickets provided to take 200 children to four games at the Padres Stadium.
I wish the new president the same joy and success for the coming year.
